This series concludes, restating leadership is about influence and, if God has given you a sphere of influence and you intend to use it for the purposes of His Kingdom and His glory, it changes your life-perspective. This message explores the notion of learning to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit in our lives – to cooperate with Him. Few topics, however, in the Christian faith give rise to greater division and stress within the Body of Christ than the topic of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Allen invites us toward the simple premise that the Holy Spirit is our Helper and that we do not have to be afraid of Him. Scripture reveals the Holy Spirit to be a person, one of the three Persons of the Godhead – the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. He also serves as the Father’s representative of the Godhead on earth, taking the place of Jesus’ physical presence on earth - Lord in the Church just as Jesus is Lord over the Church from His place seated at the right hand of God in heaven. Further, the Holy Spirit indwells the Church on earth to complete the ministry of Jesus and be our teacher and guide, helping to administer God’s resources and empower the Body of Christ. We are invited to embrace God’s Holy Spirit and get to know Him in His Personhood as our Friend and our Helper and to become a great follower of His guidance.
