Temptation is a continual reality that we face, irrespective of our age. Our challenge as Christ-followers is that we have a tendency to underestimate our ability to handle adversity and overestimate our ability to handle temptation. We are, therefore, unprepared for both the power and persistence of the temptations that confront us.
